We visited the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Mt. Vernon on Sunday. Austin S., Austin P, and Reid S, had a great time. We also did some of the required boy things like the playground and throwing rocks and sticks into the river. We ending the outing with a trip to McDonald's for chocolate shakes.

National Register of Historic Places in Posey County

One of the acheivements for September is to visit a historical place, museum or zoo. This trip does not have to be with the Pack or Den.  It can be a family outing. We have so many choices surrounding our area.  We have Mesker Park Zoo , Evansville Museum , Koch Children's Museum and many others.  There are some places on the National Register that might surprise you.
