Wadesville VFW Flower Beds
Friday we started on the flower beds at the VFW in Wadesville. Bushes were pulled out that had been planted 50 years ago. Time for a face lift! We gave the flagpole a new coat of paint and cleared the beds to get them ready for planting. Saturday we started in again. 2nd coat of paint for the flag pole, along with new rigging. We got the flower beds all laid out and planted. Topped them off with rock mulch. The kids worked so hard and we would like to thank everyone that showed up to work on the project. - Parents and kids. Many thanks to several businesses that donated time or materials to help Pack 390 make this happen. We are so grateful to the VFW for letting us use their building for our special events like Blue and Gold and Pinewood Derby. It's only fitting that we should do something special for them in return.
