Go See It!!! Saturday March 6th - Lots of Things

We will be starting our day meeting at Wesselmans Woods at 9 am, then over to the Red Cross for Safety Day activities and at 1 there is a free magic show at Teachers Aid Store off Stockwell Ave.  We should be able to check off quite a list of requirements for Tigers and Wolves.

The cost for Wesselmans Sugarbush Festival is 6.40 for adults and 3.60 for kids (under 3 are free)  I did get them to give us a group discount to get the prices down to this level for us.  This includes the tours and a pancake and sausage breakfast, all you can eat.

We will then go over to Red Cross Safety Day which is free.

The Magic Show is free also.

Hope to see you there.

See below for information on each.

This event is a celebration of the maple sugar harvest from the trees of the Preserve. Visitors of all ages will be guided through the woods to observe how sap harvested from the sugar maple trees becomes the pure maple syrup that we all love to pour over hotcakes. Each visitor is served a hearty breakfast that includes sausage, all-you-can-eat pancakes with pure maple syrup from one of Indiana's own maple sugarbushes, and a beverage.

We welcome you to join us for this local tradition of discovery and fun in the Wesselman Woods Nature Preserve!

Admission: $7 adults (13 and over); $4 youth; children 3 and under are free! Discounted admission for Wesselman Nature Society members.
